On February 28, 2012 Dell released OpenManage Essentials (OME) 1.0.1, which will replace Dell IT Assistant (ITA).
OME feaures include:
- Simple and Effective – with a newer, fresher GUI interface, easier to install and easier to use
- Basic Hardware Management – discover, inventory and monitor Dell servers & switches, update & configure servers, and Asset reporting (service tag, warranty, etc.)
